Purpose of the website

The sole purpose of this website is to present the NotreContrat mobile app. None of the service’s features (account creation, matching, agreements, payments) are available on the website: they are available exclusively in the mobile app, whose use is governed by the terms of use.

NotreContrat offers parents, as well as adult pupils and students, a tutor matching their request (class, subjects, number of hours, online or in-person lessons), then lets them formalise the agreement and keep track of it. Users who already have a tutor can also formalise that relationship in the app. NotreContrat is not a party to the agreements made between users and is not the tutors’ employer.

The price of lessons is set by NotreContrat according to a common price scale. Payments, made in full, in instalments or per lesson, are held until the lessons have been verified, then paid out to the tutor. These rules are described in the app terms of use.

Payment services

NotreContrat is not a payment institution, an electronic money institution or a credit institution. Payments are processed by mobile money operators and by [À compléter : nom de l’établissement de paiement ou de la banque partenaire, agréé(e) par la BCEAO], an institution licensed by the Central Bank of West African States (BCEAO), in accordance with Regulation No. 15/2002/CM/UEMOA and Instruction No. 001-01-2024 on payment services in the WAMU. The amounts paid by parents are held by this institution in a dedicated account, separate from NotreContrat’s own accounts, until they are paid out to the tutor or refunded. NotreContrat sends payout and refund instructions according to the rules set out in the terms of use and does not use these amounts on its own behalf.

All elements of the website and the app (texts, illustrations, logos, trademarks, software, databases) are the exclusive property of NotreContrat or its partners and are protected by Law No. 2016-555 of 26 July 2016 on copyright and related rights and, for trademarks, by the Bangui Agreement (OAPI). Any full or partial reproduction or display without prior written permission is prohibited.

The website does not use any advertising or analytics cookies.

The processing of personal data is described in the privacy policy.
