NotreContrat is a mobile app designed to connect two parties, formalize their agreements and track payments, all in one place.
NotreContrat is currently available for tutoring at every level, from primary school to university. Whether you are a parent or an adult student, enter the class or level of study, the subjects and your preferences: the app offers you a suitable tutor, with their profile, ratings and price.
Create your account and add your child’s profile, or your own if you are an adult student. Tap “Get a tutor”, choose the subjects, the number of hours and the format, online or in person: the app offers you a tutor with their profile, ratings and price. Already have a tutor? Link your accounts with a QR code to formalize your agreement.
Create your profile: subjects, levels, format, area and availability. Receive the requests that match you and accept the ones that suit you. You get paid after each confirmed session, and your ratings strengthen your profile. Already teaching students? Invite them with your QR code or an invitation code.
Parents, adult students and tutors. A parent can add several children’s profiles to their account; a student who is a minor cannot create their own account.
All levels: primary school, middle school, high school and university, including exam and competitive exam preparation.
Tap “Get a tutor” in the app. The student’s class or level of study is already known: choose the subjects, the number of hours and the format, online or in person. The app offers you an available tutor, chosen based on your request, the distance for in-person sessions and their ratings. If the proposal does not suit you, you can ask for another one.
Yes. Each of you creates an account, then you link them: one scans the other’s QR code, or enters the invitation code the other has sent. You then enter the terms (subjects, number of hours, format and times) and the app calculates the price from the price scale. Payment, session confirmation and ratings then work as with any other tutor.
NotreContrat calculates the price using a price scale that takes into account the level, the number of subjects, the number of hours, the format (online or in person) and the distance the tutor travels. The price is shown before you confirm anything.
No. The app has no messaging: everything is set in your request and summarized in the agreement. Once the agreement is confirmed, each party receives the information needed for the sessions, such as the address or access to the online session.
Each party validates the agreement in the app with their personal PIN code, fingerprint or their phone’s face recognition. Text messages are only used to confirm your phone number when you sign up.
Payments are made by mobile money: in full, in installments or session by session. Cash payments can also be recorded in the app for tracking purposes.
With a single-use session code that the parent or adult student gives the tutor at the end of the session. For in-person sessions, the code appears when both phones are within 200 meters of the session location. If your child goes to the session alone, you can send them the code remotely: the tutor must then enter it from the scheduled location. For online sessions, each app shows a code that changes every minute: the student and the tutor read their codes to each other during the session and each enters the other’s code.
The payment is held by a licensed institution until the session is confirmed with the code. The tutor is then paid automatically into their mobile money account at the end of each session, every week or every month. A session that did not take place is refunded.
After sessions, the parent or adult student gives the tutor a rating of one to five stars. Each tutor’s profile shows their average rating, the number of ratings received, the number of students taught and their experience.
Yes. Users’ identity is verified before profiles are approved, as are tutors’ qualifications.
No. In Côte d’Ivoire, the Ministry of National Education prohibits teachers from giving paid remedial lessons to their own students (service note No. 1076 of October 1, 2026). Teachers may, however, tutor other students. Before each agreement, the tutor declares on their honor that they are not the student’s teacher and takes responsibility for this.
